St. Mary Magdalen's Chapter of Moms in Prayer
For more information:
Held every Tuesday morning from 9:15-10:30 AM when school is in session, two or more moms meet for an hour in the St. John Neumann room to pray for their children, their schools, teachers and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for spiritual growth and learning to pray. Conversational prayer or praying in one accord is the method of prayer that is used. One accord praying is agreeing together as directed by the Holy Spirit. No one is ever forced into voicing their needs aloud, since contemplating silently in your heart as part of a group is still praying in one accord.
Today we especially need to stand in the gap for our children through prayer as well as pray that our children will also stand boldly in their faith and make good choices. Moms in Prayer is a great way of doing just that!
SMM Moms in Prayer provides support and encouragement to moms who carry heavy burdens for their children and is a positive support for our schools because it is made up of women who truly believe that prayer makes a difference!
SMM Moms in Prayer is part of an international organization that would like to see mothers asking God to intercede for every school around the world and to have all children covered with prayer.
“Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord…Lift up your hands toward Him for the lives of your children.”
