Faith Formation
Faith Formation is for everyone at every age. It is a life-long process for each one of us—children and adults. Faith in Christ is what makes us One family—One Church.
The foundation we establish in childhood is just the beginning as we mature and work to build a deeper relationship with God and our community as his disciples.
St. Mary Magdalen embraces everyone, no matter where they are on the path in their faith journeys. Our parish offers a variety of options for individuals and families to explore and get involved in the community. In addition to these recurring formation options, please visit our liturgical formation, service ministries, and events.

Blaze
Girls in Grades 7th & 8th
BLAZE is an after-school ministry on Wednesdays in fall and spring for girls in 7th and 8th grade. Created by the founder of WWP, it seeks to counteract how society drives girls to question their true worth and beauty.
Through BLAZE, moderators emphasize how a girl's identity is rooted in Christ as God's chosen, beloved daughter.
An antidote to bullying, anxiety, and image issues, BLAZE replaces lies with truth and strengthens girls from the inside out through Scripture based learning in a supportive environment.
The program is offered at SMM and was created by Walking With Purpose.

Each series follows a specific Scripture-based format along with a companion book for discussion.
When facilitated at SMM, each series meets once a week and run for six or more sessions. To learn more, visit our WWP page linked below.
