Our Prayer for Monsignor Chieffo

Msgr. with his grand nephew and niece on June 2.

Heavenly Father, we express our profound gratitude for our shepherd and your servant, Monsignor Chieffo. His years of dedicated service to you and to us as a priest at St. Mary Magdalen Parish have not only left an indelible mark on our spiritual journey, but have also deeply enriched our lives. His legacy of love has not only nurtured our faith, but has also transformed our community, making it a beacon of hope and love. As a result of his good and faithful service, we find ourselves on spiritually fertile ground, ready to continue his mission of building a Family of Faith in Jesus Christ through Catholic Worship, Formation, and Charity.

Twenty-four years ago, you sent us Father Ralph. His passion for Catholic education has transformed our community. We are proud of our fruitful school community, which is both academically excellent and passionately Catholic. Guided by your Son, our Blessed Mother, and our patroness, St. Mary Magdalen, our parish family thrives in faith, hope, and love—a testament to the many seeds sown by Father Ralph.

Heavenly Father, we are deeply grateful for the profound impact of Msgr. Chieffo's loving guidance. He has been a beacon of light, illuminating the path of missionary discipleship through his loving example. He has met each member of his flock where they are, guiding us all towards our shared calling, the road to sainthood.

When our hearts are restless, he leads us—through the intercession of the Blessed Mother—to find solace in her Son, providing us with a constant source of peace and comfort.

As a united Parish Family, we are centered on the Eucharistic sacrifice and the Sacraments. In the Sacraments, we have discovered that the true JOY of the Gospel can be found in Jesus, Others, and Yourself, a shared value that binds us together in faith and love.

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask for your continued grace and blessings on Monsignor Chieffo, your servant, and our shepherd and pastor. We are filled with hope and optimism, knowing that he will continue to bless our parish for many years to come. Help him know that there is no separation where true love exists. His legacy of love will not diminish but will continue to inspire and guide us in our spiritual journey.

Allow him to feel in his heart what he often expresses to his spiritual children:

Jesus loves you, Father, and so do we!
